I never know what to write about here.
OK - first, I'm not the IN YOUR FACE kind of person. I'm not the shy, retiring type either. What you see, is what you get - unless I know you. Then, there are as many facets to me as a well cut emerald that is my birthstone.
I was born and raised "A Jersey Girl", and as the saying goes "I got here [to Texas] as fast as I could". LOL! Which means that I have good roots, and now a warm place to let them take hold and flourish.
I don't believe in being two faced. And my memory has never been good enough to be a "decent" liar - so I don't.
I cannot abide the term 'shut up'. You will never hear me say that - EVER. To me, it means that all communication has been closed off. I may tell you to hush. That means I need a bit of space to think things thru, ponder a bit, regroup, and generally get my thoughts together. And if someone tells me to 'shut up', I'll tell them ONCE - that I don't accept that from anyone [and I do mean anyone], and give them a chance to take it back. If they don't, or do it again, then that's it. They obviously have no respect for me, so, since they have then cut off communication.....
I'm also the woman who keeps her promises. Good, bad or indifferent - if I promise - it's done. [My kids would be the first ones to tell you that, and, LOL, they'd also tell you that as long as I'm talking-shouting-singing, you're ok. If I get quiet - run - until I'm talking again.]
Boy, for someone who didn't know what to write - I've said a mouthful!
I believe that life is too damned short to hold grudges. I believe in kissing my loved ones hello and goodbye. I believe in telling them that I love them.
I'm a good friend and a good listener. My goal in this life is to arrive in the next one, sliding in all hot and sweaty, yelling at the top of my lungs "WOW, that was a hell of a ride!!!"
