Eventually I want a long-term relationship. You just can't rush it.As for the basics, I like going to live plays, museums, concerts, and movies. A few hobbies that I haven't really made time for in a while are reading, drawing, painting...anything "artsy". I'm originally from KY. I went to college at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.Time spent with my one and only...Staying at home, cooking together (or for you) is just as satisfying for me as going out to dinner...followed by snuggling up and watching a good movie or tv/tivo. I love to give and recieve affection. Having said that, I do understand the importance of space for the both of us. Exeriencing new things together can be so invigorating, so whatever we could do or wherever we could go to make that happen would be wonderful. I consider myself a very loyal person...also logical, goal-oriented, and fun-loving. I have a pretty open mind and am easy to talk to. Most importantly, I don't hold unrealistic expectations in relationships. A couple of things I look for in a man are humor (we have to be able to laugh together...I miss that), and an open mind (let's not be so judgemental of other people). As much as I'd like a man with an open mind, I'd like him to be well-grounded, with good morals. Finally, someone that's ok with communicating his thoughts and feelings (good and bad) is very improtant to me because I believe communication is key. That way, time isn't wasted. You always know if it's time to let go...or worth it to stay.
