yea, Marines usually get a shorter deployment than the Army does, but we get re-deployed more. I will definitely have a positive outlook for it though.
they plan on me being gone for at least 8 months. I'm looking forward to going, if it means bringing back my Marines home, I'll go without any hesitation.
yea, that's pretty cool, except for the fact that he kept getting hurt. that always sucks. hopefully nothing will happen to your bf while he's in Iraq, and hopefully I'll make it back in one piece as well.
ha ha, yea, he must be a Sgt if he's been in that long and just got promoted. Medics are pretty cool, Marines have Navy Corpsman who take care of us, we do everything to make sure they're safer than our own troops.
