YOUR HEART

When I saw you Thursday

It was like no time has passed at all

Seeing you cry that Valentines day

Made me feel very very small.

Even though I don't think I did anything to make you cry

I felt bad

Because I saw the hurt and pain in your eye

I felt sad,then I felt mad

I wanted to find that person,i assume a guy

Who could hurt you in such a way

I'd have one simple question why

I wouldn’t know what else to say

Because every time I think of you I think of beauty

I see your sparkling eyes,your bright smile

But more importantly

I feel your heart every time you touch me

At times you seem to not notice or at-least not care

That I'm in this wheelchair

Its rare that people see me for who I am

A loving caring man

At times you seem to not notice or at least not care

So remember if you ever need an ear

For you I'll always be here

I just think you are great

Despite standing me up on our lunch date

I just want you to know you were thought of fondly

While you were away

It may not have been every day

But in my mind and in my heart you stayed
