1.  Heard from the lawyer first thing in the morning.  We got the initial offer from the insurance company related to a car accident I was in back in 2009.  By the end of the day we had agreed to a settlement amount, quite a bit higher then I had expected.  The lawyer keeps 1/3, and my health insurance company keeps a small amount of it, but in all we are VERY happy with what we agreed to!  FU-PONIES FOR EVERYONE!

2.  My manager told me today that I'm going to Vegas in July!  I had already been planning on it, but there was a chance that I might have to pay for some of my food out of pocket.  Turns out the client is willing to cover the per diem for the food, so I'll get 7 days in Vegas for training free of charge!

3. Plus nobody I know got killed in South Central L.A.

Today was a good day.
