Giving Thanks at year's end
Giving Thanks
Each year I reflect on what has taken place.
I think about where I was at January and where I am now at Christmas.
I would like to say I have bettered myself this year. Both as a person,
and as a provider for my family and myself. Sadly, I don't think I managed
to do either of those things.
But none the less, I have much to be thankful for. I have a roof over my head. I have
a job, and while we all could probably hope for a better job I have to say its a good job.
I have a wonderful daughter and family. We are a family I can count on when
things are bad as well as good. Family that comes around to see you
even when they don't need something.
I also have some wonderful friends where I work. Guys I can count on
to help me and I help them as well. They are great people who have great values.
I also have met and made some great friends here as well. You are all people that
have helped me along the way here. You have rated my pics and stash. You've helped me
remember the HTML needed to build blogs and bulletins like this. You have answered or
helped me find an answer to any question I have about the place. When I think about
the people I have met here, I think of you all fondly, like you were best of friends that
have been through thick and thin. I think of you as family. I think of you all from a
place in my heart. And I know, with friends and family like I have, I will become the
person I want to be. So thank you and may your Christmas be bright. May your new
year be prosperous and find you great joy.
If I make it another year on Fubar, It will
be interesting to see how the list above grows. Meanwhile, the above people is a short list of people who have helped me alot. I hope
anyone who reads this goes by and shows them much love.
