Well... the gig was this past Thursday night... and I really wish more BBW's would have shown up... We worked our asses off... and the Club owner was condesending and unpleasent... He didn't care that my partners and I wanted to bring his club more business with the BBW crowd and the guys that love em... ME! My business partner... Josh.. wanted to go punch the owners son in the face... but we didn't want to alienate ourselves from working in other places in the AV... so we were pleasent.... [good business sense!] Anyway... I guess Uncle Sams in Lancaster, CA has something against people who try to bring them more business on an off night! [They seem to Especially despize the Size Acceptance crowd!.. Hmmmmm] We will press on and find another venue for our BBW event! :) Thats it! Have a Great Day!

My BIG event is tomorrow night and I'm a tad stressed... I've been running around driving myself nuts testing lightshow stuff, testing audio gear, making sure we have enough extension cords, checking the music, burning CD's, doing double and triple checks of the equipment, going craaazy.... It's a risk... my risk... My partners risk... My partners and I have passed out close to 7000 flyers in the AV area for the event all while I geek out on the technical stuff. Then there's my Job... teaching.. Fiber Optics, and Structured Cabling... I tell them that I can't work for them on Thursday nights cause I have a gig to do and what do they do? They book me for Tues and Thurs nights teaching a Fiber Optics class 1.5+ hours away from home... I just got off the phone with my boss and he took a whole month to NOT fix my problem by moving the day to some other day, except Thursday. Hopefully that will be resolved by tomorrow or I may have no job, based on their screw up... Wow What a Day!
