Ok so right now I am so glad I have no more children in school....

They are STRIP SEARCHING CHILDREN in SCHOOLS

They are saying they DO NOT have to abide by the 4th ammendment

They say they DON"T have to have probable cause...

(probable cause being reasonable proof .....)

How far are schools going to go with their dictatorships

They say they can do this WITHOUT a parent present

Without a warrant

Now I understand the concern for safety in the schools and that guns and drugs are a big focal point

But don't children and their parents have rights ?

The schools don't seem to think so

But even hard core drug dealers get better rights than our children

TO STRIP SEARCH AN 8TH GRADE GIRL just cuz someone said opens the door for every bully every clic and peer issue to become a weapen against those they choose to attack for what ever reason..it opens the door for child vendetta

Who cares what the psychological aspects this can have on a child ......right?

who cares if a child may feel insecure with themselves just dealing with everyday issues as it is ..lets open them to more humiliation, embarrassment, ridicule ....

It's not like it isnt hard enough on kids today in the schools to "measure up" now they have to walk in fear of whether or not they will be next to be stripped down and have their bodies searched in front of and by ADULTS ...

Just because someone said they have drugs....

who cares what our constitutional rights are

who cares that if a parent were to do that they could get in trouble for putting their OWN child through that and in some cases could be seen as abusing their child

Now I know what it is like in the schools I have put kids through school

One who was a special needs child  (and that battle was a nightmare for my child as well as my self)

What happened to the idea of ADULTS PROTECTING children?

I remember when I came to my childs school to find fences and locked gates ... I had to ask permission to even walk into the office and I had to request a Pass to enter the school ( they also "had" the right to refuse me entry..even though under the federal law "IDEA of 97" the parent has the right to observe the schools and childs interactions within the school WITHOUT prior notice....

BUT I had to ask permission to see my child while they were in school

so let's just throw away the constitution and the laws for the sake of safety....

let alone the right to protect our children from such humiliations

Are we so paranoid that we are turning into a nation of dictatorship where our rights as parents. children. as a HUMAN are denied?

Lets provide more rights for true criminals than we do law abiding citizens

Well

I WILL NEVER allow some school system tell me their rights as an organization is more important and holds more ground than ones HUMAN rights.

What the hell are we doing allowing this to happen?

Find better proof than just "someone said" call parents BEFORE taking action....allow the parents to be present...allow parents some say in how things are done in the schools when it comes to their children....

Touch my child without me there or without my permission I guarantee you I will come unglued

Used to be the school had to call the parents BEFORE taking actions such as spanking ..now they can make a child go to the nurses office and make them strip and make them stand there while an adult puts their hands on them ....

Hell lets allow pedofiles to be teachers for gawds sake :s

we need to find better ways of securing our schools than to traumatize the children...

I am sooo glad my children are no longer in school and I feel sorry for the children who have to go to school these days ..they have to focus more on these things plus peer pressure

No wonder more and more kids are failing in school with all this extra pressure hanging over their heads... where and when can they find the time to focus on an education?

They are too busy focusing on all the paranoia to be able to focus on the real reason they are there ...
