Today was bad.

Like... everyone in my unit (about 20 people) submitting written complaints and considering other employment opportunities.
I won't get into detail because ... I already have on the phone and at work.
Funny thing is people kept turning to me.
I helped them submit their complaints.
Talked out their rage, and made a few proposals on what else we could do...
then I talked to my dad
and really
when I think about it
I shouldn't pursue that COA.
The RIGHT thing
and the SMART thing
are in direct conflict here.
The RIGHT thing to do is to FIGHT!
Dig in and lead!
and fight for this... barely living wage I have here.

the smart thing to do is to seek other employment opportunities.
Sucks... I really do like these people, and I really like helping these kids.
Its not worth risking their jobs, and its not worth the stress or the pay for me.
I may be the new kid, but I'm also the only person in my unit with a BA. I need to remember that actually means something to some people.
I also have 170% volume, a perfect attendance record, and I've been pulled for a couple special projects.
