Do you participate in gift exchanges at your place of employment? We had one at our work and they set the $ amount to be $40. My opinion a little high but there was no vote I'm aware of. So I bought my person approximately $40 worth of stuff. But I received a $25 gift card and that was it.

This is why I don't like to participate. Should I say something or just enjoy the spirit of giving.
