I met you many years ago. Never thinking I would fall in love with you. Madly in love, I did fall, this I now know. To this love, I will remain faithfully true.

An angel's face you had for me to see. So full of compassion and love. A lasting relationship that was meant to be. Two people placed together by the good Lord above.

Where my heart used to be, there now is only a tear, I did wrong by committing sin. The thought of losing you is to much to bear. I live with the fact of not knowing what might have been.

I miss your soft hands and loving touch, the feelings of your romantic kiss. You know I do love you, you just do not realize just how much. It's our tender, romantic moments I very much miss.

Your hair the color of roses in the early morn. Your skin smooth and milky white. From my chest, my heart has been torn, my transgressions have been brought to light.

For your mercy and forgiveness I do ask, for this is what Jesus Christ taught us to do. My feelings for you or my desire to change I will not mask.

To win you back and show you the change in me , to this end, I will remain true.

This poem was written for my lovely wife, there is a picture of her up by my side on my profile.

This poem actually won a contest and was placed in a book of poetry. I am most proud of this poem as it speaks of my feelings about my wife, whom I was separated from for over a year.

I am proud to say by placing my trust in Jesus, He restored my marriage.

God smiled upon me when He brought you into my life. A bright and beautiful future, He allowed me to see. But this was not to be, as Satan's demons attacked and brought strife.

I allowed myself to stray away from God's Love and affection. I lost an angel in one day. By my choice of the worldly selection.

I had a love that was so true, but I let my anger rule. By doing this I now know the meaning of blue. Now I am locked with Satan's demons in a life or death duel.

Just as Christ teaches me, I will not give up on the one I love. A Christ filled marriage reunion He allows me to see.

All He asks of me in return is to trust in my salvation, His Word, His Love, His cleansing blood and His powers from above.
