WITHOUT THE RAIN
The rain is steady
But never alone
Because we rain inside,
It’s just never shown.
Out in the dark
When it’s pouring down rain
We can cry aloud
And not be ashamed
For they can’t see
The tears fall
Or from which eye
They fell
The rain has no enemies
And has no friends.
We don’t know when it will start
Or when it will end
We can’t have any flowers
Without the rain
We can’t have any love
Without the pain.
