They say to make a wish
on the first star you see at night.
As for me, the wish I want to make, I'm afraid
I can't make come true.
I'd wish for you to love me;
I'd wish for you to stay with me, but deep down,
I know I can't make it happen.
I don't know how you truly feel,
or what YOU really want.
Now for me to make that wish
would only be foolish.
My one actual wish would be
to make your main wish come true.
I can't make you love me,
nor can I make you stay,
but I can wish,
'cause a wish is actaully a dream
and some dreams come true,
as for one of mine already did...you.
I can make all the wishes I want,
but none of them can change reality.
My ONLY wish I really want
is for you to be happy.
