Naaman was an old important man in the town where he lived. He was a high-ranking officer in a big army. A little girl from Israel was a servant in Naaman's house. She was a servant for his wife.The little girl was worried about Naaman. He had become sick with a very bad skin desease,called leprosy.People who had leprosy were not allowed to live around other people.The little girl knew that God could heal her master.But he did not beieved in God.The brave little girl told him that he should go to see Elisha.She knew that the man of God could help Naaman get well.Naaman did go see Elisha.He wanted to be well! Elisha told him to go to the Jordan River."Wash seven times in the water,"he said.Naaman thought that was silly.He thought Elisha should just wave his had and make him well.Naaman started to go home.But his servent begged him to do what Elisha said. "He is not asking you to do something hard," the servent said."At least try it."Naaman listened to his servent.Naaman walked into the water of the Jordan River and washed his body.Then he washed again and again. He did it seven times.His skin was healed! He shouted,"Now I believe in God."All of you if God is sending you instuctions on how to be healed of any thing wrong do it!.
