The winter cold is upon us,
but I look forward to the season,

Whatever weather comes
no matter what is or what will be,
I'm happy knowing that you'll be there
to share my life with me.
And as the world is frosted with snow,
and from the gutters icicles dip,

how much I need you and love you.
I've never had to look hard to see
that the warmth of May lives in thee.
And I could never feel the winter cold,

I feel like spring has begun,
