Dropping down rapids
Touching bodies of foreign matter
Brushing past boulders
Feeling the warmth of the midday sun
Hiding in the coolness of a gentle stream
When night skies reflected upon
With her brilliant resplendent jewels
Lucent orb casting her magical glow
She tries to encourage it to flow
It lays still and so silent… unmoving
Will it refuse to merge?
Failing to blend
With crystallized emotions
Or substance
To remain forever…
