So, a couple days ago I decided to apply to The Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online to get my BS (well it's about bleeping time) in Interactive Media Design (web design). While filling out the application form, I was stumped when I got to the question asking which program I was enrolling in.(ending a sentence with a preposition ... tsk tsk) See, all of the literature I had seen up to that time had called the program 'Web Design & Media', but that wasn't on the list. I decided to wait and call the next day (yesterday ... Friday, that's important) to ask about it. Upon calling, the rep from the school told me that Web Design & Media was called Interactive Media Design on the application form (no explanation) and then proceeded to walk me (figuratively speaking) through the rest of the form (wasn't that nice of him?). He then handed me off to two other people to fill out all manner of other forms (mostly financial aid) for roughly the next three hours (without a cigarette, no less). The last guy had me download some transcript request forms to me printed, filled out, scanned and emailed back to him (paperless world eh?) and then left me to fill out the last of the financial aid forms (apparently he couldn't legally be on the phone with my while I filled them out) saying that he would call me tomorrow (this was on Friday, remember?) at noon (why did I agree to that time?) to walk me (again figuratively) through the classrooms (which, I presume, are also figurative ... or at least virtual).
So, today I wake up far too early and run (yes, figuratively) around like the proverbial headless chicken to get everything done before he calls (I'm kinda OCD like that). Noon arrives and I wait an hour for the call before realizing that it's Saturday ... dude probably didn't realize that it was Friday when he said he'd call tomorrow and will most likely call on Monday. In short, I've once again completely stressed myself out for absolutely nothing. And to think (starting a sentence with and ... really?), I could have spent those few hours sleeping or playing WoW (yeah, I'm that guy) or listening to JoCo or doing any number of more enjoyable things.
Grrrr!!!

P.S. Before you decide to post any placating comments, I was being facetious with the title.
P.P.S. Starting both paragraphs with so ... I am really off my game.
