Psalm 25:4-5
“Show me Thy ways, O LORD; teach me Thy paths.
Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me: for Thou art the God of my salvation;
on Thee do I wait all the day.”
When I obey God, I am a blessing to you.
When you obey God, you will be a blessing to me.
You cannot obey God without your obedience spilling out in a blessing to all those around you.
The same is true in the negative.
When we disobey God, we break the hearts of those around us.
Perhaps you are breaking the hearts of your father, mother, wife, husband, or best friend today
because you are disobeying God rather than letting the joy of Jesus be manifest in you.
Why do you obey God?
For your good.
For their gladness.
And most of all, for His glory.
Pray: Lord, with all my heart, with all I am, I want to know You.
I want our relationship to be close and my faith to grow.
Cleanse me and make me new that I may be all that You want me to be.
