Its January 5th and I have yet to shovel the first snow of the winter. I'm sort of torn about how I should feel about this. Yes,we've gotten some snow, but nothing that lasted...I would like to go sledding sometime..I dont think that'll be happening..
Part of me is frightened by the warm fall and winter we've had here in the Northeast.. My mind is imagining all sorts of climate related fiascos.. I'm waiting to see penguins coming down on the melting polar ice caps.
The other part of me is kind of grateful for the weather. I've been able to enjoy long walks.. I mean its been sunny and in the upper 50's.. I put on a light sweatshirt and I'm good to go.. Does it get any better than this?
Knowing my luck,I probably spoke too soon
