Subtle thoughts and cold lips watching the warmth leaving your body as we kiss
Dead leaves fall on what was once a warm embrace
Tears roll down my cheeks, lips, and face
I release your hand and close my eyes
Hoping that you are where the Angel flies
Sitting alone the cold, dank, dark
Fighting away the demons, devils, and larks
