She just doesn't fit in,
But she's too city for the country,
Where does she begin?
She's jeans and high heels,
A little rock and roll,
She's pearls and sneakers,
A little country as well.
Too fast for the slow life,
Too slow for the fast lane,
Too city for the country,
And too country for the rat race.
She dresses up by dressing down,
Denim and curls,
High heel boots, leather suit,
She lives by her own rules,
No place to call home,
She does the best she can,
All she really wants,
Is a good loving man.
