when i speak doesnt anyone hear
do they not see me am i not here
i speak from my soul conviction and all
but as i continue to speak the words they just fall
like a tree in the forest that cant be heard
so goes my voice the voice without word
i struggle to say what it is i must say
i fight for the right to be heard today
i say the words once twice sometimes three
yet here i sit yall still ignore me
i just want my wants and needs to be heard
i just want yu to be able to hear my one little word
please open your ears and listen to me
please hear what i ask for do this for me
please acknowledge the fact that i too exist
that you know with my words your life aint at risk
