Here's a song I wrote, a while ago, have at it; This is one them songs I can see being done many different ways, except for the religious the theme is universal; I'd probably do it as an acoustic shuffle! A Pop singer, they sometimes sing about death too, would make the melody bounce! A Rock & Roll band would add electric's and maybe an organ or saxophone! A Country band would put it to a boogie beat! A Heavy Metal group would add a guitar solo, at 12 on a 1-10 dial, and curses! A punk band, old skool, would speed it up shout the words and out motherfuck the fuckin' HMers! These ain't criticisms I enjoy, something's, from all those genres they are the way I've found them! And I know all about generalizing! This the way I wrote the song last night, added a verse today, but my shit ain't written in stone!
Willys cynical thought for the fuckin' day;
What is a "genre?" Sounds, to me, like a French word for breasts! I.e., man did you see the fuckin' genres on that chick!
WHEN DEATH COMES KNOCKIN' (DON'T ANSWER THE DOOR)
By WILLY SENKIWSKY 3/5/07 11:30 PM., Low F Harp, Key of C, Straight up Shuffle
This maybe shocking'
But I spent the night rockin'
Then death came knockin' I didn't answer the door!
I must be on his list
Once I woke up to take a piss
Heard death knock told him to give me a kiss!
I remember I'd been workin' all week
Into my window he was tryin' to peek
Death came knockin I went back to sleep!
If you answer you're gone
He knows where to find ya even not at home
Death always comes knockin he never uses a phone!
I fell asleep in my fovorite chair
Woke up stench of death was everywhere
Then death came knockin but I didn't care!
There are those who can't wait
Don't use advice columns or ask for debate
Death may come knockin' but it'll be too late!
I know or knew folks who answered the door
I guess that is why they ain't here any more
When death comes knockin' don't answer the door!!!...
