FREEDOM IS NOT REALLY FREE!!!
Freedom is not Really Free! From the first day until now brave men and women pay with their life’s, blood, sweat, tears. They pay with their Kid's and their mom's and dad's, their time and their love. Freedom has to be earned everyday and will have to keep being earned as long as this great nation stands. Here are a few stories of people who have paid for are Freedom!
A young boy no more than 13 years old stands in a field beating on a drum. The Year is 1777 the boy is a drummer boy for the Colonial Army. As he stands there leading the march with his drum, a shot is fried from the enemy. The bullet rips into the young boy’s chest causing him to fall to the ground. He lies there bleeding to death. There is not a thing anyone can do. So the boy dies there on the field. How can you say he did not pay!!!
A man walks in a jungle he knows not. The year is 1944 in Japan. As he searches for the enemy’s location he takes a step forward and his foot comes down on a mine. It blows up ripping his leg from his body. He is found by his unit and they are able to save his live but not his legs. Now he will never be able to walk again. How dare you say he did not pay!!!
A older man walks along a wall here in the Great U.S.A. . This wall is no common wall it is the wall of the fallen men and women who gave their lives in Vietnam. The old man finds the place he knows all to well and pulls a piece of paper and pencil from his pocket. Then he presses the paper to the wall and rubs the name off the wall with his pencil. The name of the man who died belongs to the old mans only son. Now the man will never get to see his son get old or have kids, he will never get to be a grand dad or see his son in college. He pays with the hurt and lost he feels everyday!!!
Two kids, a little girl and boy know not why their mom had to die. The year is NOW, you know the place but if you don’t IRAQ is the place. Their mom died because of a fanatic Muslim suicide bomber. The Terrorists care nothing for their lives or any of the people whose lives they hurt. Now these two young children get to grow up with out their mom. How sad is that. They are truly paying the price!!!
So as I said before Freedom is never free. You know what I think its should be call PAYDOM from now on out of respect for all the people who paid, will pay, and are paying now. I think that everyone should serve for this great land. And if you can’t then at lest support those who do. If you don’t like what I said you can move to France or where ever for all I care but have a little respect for your self and others who live in this Great place we call U.S.A.
