Normally I do light hearted Mumms....but today this is a serious one...
My favorite uncle passed last week...and his Homegoing (funeral) Service is tomorrow. Sad to say out of all 9 of his kids, only one has been there to take care of him while he suffered with dementia. I resent the other kids for this...and I am angry at the way they have treated their sister, who is not only hearing impaired but has survived breast cancer. I am going to the service...but I want nothing to do with my cousins, except the one who has been there for her Dad. I know I should try and be supportive to them too...but I simply don't respect them. Should I let my anger go and try to be there for them all? Or should I be there for my one cuz who I know will need me there in case the others do or say something stupid? |
