| Last night we went to my inlaw's house. my youngest BIL is 17 so obviously still lives at home and he has moved his gf in.well his gf seems to think she's my kids "aunt" (they've been together since like July) she a nosey control freak that likes to start problems. not many people DO like her. but as long as she's nice to my kids... im okay with her being around them. but yeah anyway.. we were over there last night and I was upstairs in my MIL's room and the gf and my BIL were up there and they started playing around and my BIL did something to her and she called him a p*ssy.. and my 4 year old repeated it.. mind you we dont curse around my children so they dont know what certian words are... she runs over to him YELLING AT HIM and slaps his hand "YOU DONT SAY THAT THATS BAD TELL ME YOU'RE SORRY! THATS VERY BAD" and I jumped all over her about it because she has NEVER been told she can punish my children in any way let alone HIT them. I dont care it it was just his hand.. she had no right... and I told her she was NOT to punish him for something that she said it was her fault and she shouldnt talk that way around kids and that he doesnt get punished for something he doesnt know better about, he doesnt hear bad words so he wouldnt know it was wrong! she ended up apologizing big time to him for it, but she's too much of a control freak as it is so what I want to know is.. should I just swallow all this and deal with things as they come along with her, or say she's not aloud to be around my kids? she's done other things like trying to tell me I cant pick up my own baby. |
