Hurting from a break up
It's amazing how she moved so fast,
She called it "going on",
An excuse to forget her past.
Different guy every month,
Gettin played makes her a toy,
She too desperate and blind,
She gets no men and all the boys.
Making it hard for herself,
She knows she not doing it right,
Because she's huggin and kissin,
On the ones she "just likes"
Trying to feel loved again,
She's numb and she can't help it.....but,
This is all the wrong way,
It makes her look like a slut.
Not following the heart,
Letting her mind take the lead,
She's reaching for what she wants,
Not grabbing for what she needs.
But she keeps "moving on"
Seems like every guy makes her bitter,
But its all her fault,
She only grabs at the ones that glitter.
And finds that their not gold,
These games are getting old,
She's moving really fast.
But still getting left in the cold.
And until she figures out,
That this is a sign,
That love is not rushed,
Its gonna take some time,
Then life is gonna be harsh
Dark and lonely,
But, patience, in time she'll find,
Her one and only.
