I made someone laugh,
I calmed someone's tears.
I acted very silly,
To subside a child's fears.
I held open a door today,
For an old couple to pass through.
There is no real reason why,
This is just what I do.
So at the end of the day,
After a few have laughed or had fun.
If I don't wake tomorrow,
I know the job I'm here to do has been done.
