I am me..a woman strong, uncompromising.. With a
full heart hidden from unwilling eyes until assurance fills me with honey coated innocence and i allow myself to soar. I struggle inside myself wondering if my dreams are unreachable, do i want to much, are my expectations to high..I hear a voice that whispers warnings , bodiless of hope, so strong i can not breath until this bitterness is unmasked and the lies and unwanted memories lay trampled beneath my righteous tread..my tears fall from a nothingness, forming a retched pool about my tired feet standing upon a withered ground..I long for a measure of solitude, a wanted silence which revives me from my dreams and stills the wanting..I can be happy tomorrow, sleep is for the dead, as i cower hidden in a dark closet from ghosts that haunt my waking moments..I fantasize that i can live forever and time has only that which i afford him..I feel too deeply for my soul to be directionless, to real for imagination, yet familiar faces hold no recognition, only my reflection, a gathering of dark shadows surrounded by a sunkissed feild..I fear that within my longing i have forsaken all, so i yearn for truth on wings of hope, in need, in hunger onto a smile divine calling me into the path of freedom..I cry from fear of bursting by the pouring of my soul into an emptied vessel, my body shaking..broken..torn from what was had and what was lost..I say we are made by life, shaped perhaps, dripping a coat of many colors that mark your triumps brightly only to be blended with the lonliest of gray..Always the core of us remains unmade and voided with only faith, with trust waiting to be reborn..I try to lead by example, telling holds no power, giving is only deemed a day but the gift of knowing lasts forever..I only hope that my thoughts hold you gently, that pain is lessened by sharing, that feeling yields nothing past the words it summons except that it sprinkles you with only healing......
