What has happened to world today that simple courtesy is no longer applied? A simple thank you or pardon me has now turned into a screw you cause I can mentality.
Driving down the interstate has become a combat zone because of narrow mind self-centered people. They think they can change lanes with a turn signal. When you get upset, they flip you off as if YOU did the wrong thing. Now I drive over the speed limit on the interstates and I am aware that I may get a ticket if I becuase I do drive fast, but who authorized that person to drive in the fast lane at 5 miles below the limit? I thought the slower traffic should be on the far right, am I wrong. I may drive fast, but I am also the person that drives in the fast lane and that will move out of the lane once I have passed the slow people.
What about the people that sit at the traffic signals with the radio so loud it cause my windows to shake. Hint, if your music causes me to miss part of my AC-DC song, then yours may be way too loud.
Do not get me started on people that drive and use cell phones. Hint, If you cannot walk and chew bubblegum, do not try talking and driving.
And I know this will piss a lot of smokers off, but dammit, if you smoke take care of your trash. I am tired of paying someone to pick your butts up in my outside break areas and parking lots. I do not care if you smoke, but the next time you are at an intersection, look on the ground near the corners at all the butts on the ground.
Race issues: I am not a racist person by any means and cannot stand people that are. What urks me beyond reason is REVERSE DISCRIMINATION. It is okay to where a t-shirt proudly annoucing your ethnic background, but lord help me if I wore one that proclaims "I am proud to be white" then I must be a racist.... Is there a national white history month?? Why can't we just be proud to be an american?
I cannot believe my Ex. She raised my boys with the belief that people must earn your respect. What ever happened to respecting everyone?
What about the people that feel they are owed certain things in our society? You are not owed a driver's license. If you do not apply yourself in school, do we owe you a diploma just because you attended?
What abou you? do you beleive common courtesy is gone? Do you know why or can explain it?
