What may I ask
Will become of us now
As these tears I shed
As these fears I have bled
What may I ask
Happens when the sun
May no longer shines
When our souls no longer beat
When my eyes I close
For the final time
Sometimes when you win
You lose
When you love
You hate (hurt inside)
When I live
You die
When I see . . .
What may I ask
Does my nightmares do
After they have made me strong
After I have slit my wrists
Broken your heart
Destroyed our love
Sometimes you'd say
When I lose
You win
Well. . .
Did you
You lost your love and heart to me
Only for me to set you a fire
In return for all the joy you gave to me
What may I ask
Will become of us
When this light I end
And poem I cease
When this state I flee
In fear of What I believe
No. . .What I know
What may I ask
Will become of us
Because after all that I've done
All the hate I know inside my blackened heart this
Did you win
Because I know I lost
Because I know . . .
I still love you
And for this I am truly sorry
But I didn't think you would care . . .
