My daughter just had her baby on the 16th and CAS (childrens aid society) came into the hospital room and took the baby on the 17th, she had an accident almost 2 years ago with her first son as he fell down some stairs in a hospital and she was charged with an assault, she still maintains herself not guilty and has been approved by the courts to have an appeal done for her innosence, CAS has this first child and allows her visitations without supervision, now almost 2 years later CAS took her new baby with the believe that she cannot support and provide for him, yet after making sure that she had everything she needed for this baby to come home they want her to give them everything that she bought. she did give somethings to her grandmother to get her started as she has the baby, CAS came with a truck and wanted everything else in which she told them no and kicked them off of our property.

I wondering what you think,,did she have the right to so no or do ya's think she should have handed everything over...keep in mind that the CAS recieves 700.00 per week for each child that ends up in thier care
