Yeah me! Well as some may know i have been working on some code based around the irclib to transfer large files because all the other IM clients and file transfer programs out there, limit the file size that can be sent. Well i found a little tutorial and decided to base mine on the ircbot example. This wasn't a problem as i couldn't find any examples as to how to use the dcc parts of the libs. Well i checked to see if the library had been updated and downloaded a new copy. Guess what they had, yep an example of how to do dcc send and receive. It looks a lot easier than what i was experimenting with LOL
Does that mean the code i was working, was all a waste? Nope as i realised that i can still use it for other projects. Now i can either copy the example code and expand around it, as the author allows you to do as you wish with it, or pull it in and add some glue. I think i'll copy the example and state in the code that i have used the example code as it does what i want.
The only thing i want to add is a resume function, which shouldn't be too hard. Hey i can hear you sleeping over there! LOL
