well it all started last night I went to bed and was shivering like I was naked in alaska....so I put on a heavy sweat suit thru a comforter on the bed and turned on the electric blanket I was still shaking like mad all nite long. this morning I got up found my thermometer and yup had a fever of 103. so then I took a few tylenol 800mg and went about my day but i didnt really feel that great I had the heat blasting in the car and I was still shaking. so I knew that my doc appointment was not going to go well. anyhow I put down some extra food for my cat in case I didnt return :-( then took a few extra stretch tylenol and went to my appointment. the doc changed my dressing but due to the fever insisted I go to the ER so that I could recieve IV antibiotics. well I get there and the place is jammed packed everyone was talking about how many hours they been waiting. well after 40 mins they call me take me back and ask a few questions I tell them why im here. but they knew cause she (my doc) had called them so then I go back out to the waiting room and a few minutes later the call me again and put me in a room. the first doc comes in examines me and then says she was going to admitt me to the hospital . she orders bloodwork and a catscan then she goes out and I can here her calling around to have me admitted....I dont like hosptals and especially staying in patient. but im so sick and tired of not feeling well I was willing to give it a day or two. so the next thing I know one by one enters 6 doctors all of them poking, proding, asking the same questions as the last one I finally had to tell them they were freaking me out, the waiting room is jammed pack and here I have 6 doctors checking on me. finally a 7th doc came in and said as long as the cat scan doesnt she any reason to keep me that they will give me the anitbiotics and discharge me. went to the doc at 145pm got home at 958pm and will probably have to do it all again tomorrow when I go back to my doc.
