After long consideration and many talks with my kids and family I have made the choice to go for it and get my CDL.
My kids understand why and have decided it sounds cool getting post cards and gifts from all the places I will go. They said they will be excited to show thier friends all the stuff they will get and tell them of all the places I will be going.
I explained to them many times it means I will be gone a lot and they said that was ok we can talk on the phone every night before bed and get on web cam so we can see each other. Then they asked if on holidays they can ride with me so they can travel too *laughs*
So now its time to start studying to get my permit.
I know this is a chance to turn my life around and get ahead finally and support my family like I need to do. Cant depend on anyone but ME to make my life better and get back on track. Went through hard times and life went down hill so time to go back up the hill and make a life for my kids and myself.
