Ok so most of you don't know this. Lately, I've become a workaholic. Whatever that means...
So nothing else has been new in my life. I've been busy working. Unfortunately, I decided to drop out of school this semester. It was getting too costly. Normally, I make enough to pay for my books, since I qualified for a couple of waivers, but this semester was not enough. I wish my situation could be better, but it is what it is.
So this week has been hectic! On Monday I worked 12 hrs. On Tuesday, I was lucky enough to work 7 hours, but again on Wednesday I ended up working 12 hrs. On Thursday, however, I worked 8.5 hrs, worked straight through lunch but that wasn't even the beginning of it!
So about Thursday... I get a call or two or three at 3 something in the morning (it's not like I'm going to take a look at my caller ID)! I received a call from my friend's fiance and he left a voicemail saying he'd been locked up. Since we both know she doesn't have a house phone, he asked if I could go to her house and tell her that he was locked up. It's already 430 by the time I woke up, checked the phone, and retrieved my voicemail message. So I leave the house super early, go to her house, and share the news with her. Unforunately, but lucky for me, her house doors were open. Gosh, at this point, I felt like a burglar, but hey she's like a sister to me. Well she adopted me as a sister in her life, but that's not the point right now. So, knowing that she is sick, I told her to take the day off and I'd notify them at work that she needed to take an extra day off. Poor thing!
Anywho, I have to be in by 6:00am, so I got in at 550am. I was only scheduled until 1:00pm, but I ended up working through my lunch and I got out at 245pm. So that makes it about 9 hrs I believe? So then I dash to her house, converse with her for a while, and I kept her company since the children weren't home. I then had to go home. I wanted to take a nap, but I couldn't. I then received a phone call from a couple of people to see if we were going bar hopping. I told them I'd go. Then I get a call from Yolanda asking me if I picked up her paycheck. I then had to pick up mine as well. So then time passes by quick and it's 10:00pm.
So I didn't take a nap, mind you I'd been up at 4:00am and it turned out to be the longest day of my life. For that small brief period that is, hehehe. So then I get a text from Cesar, he's walking towards the bar. I then had to pick up Javier, since I told him I would be there by 10:30. Then I had to pick up James, so I was there by 10:45 and we were finally at the bar by 11:00pm. Great, we made it on time. I had fun though with my close friends. Well they're not exactly close close friends, but they're good people nonetheless. I posted some pics of us on one of my folders!
We didn't leave the bar until it closed at 2:00am. We're all skating in front of the bar, then I decided to go to my car. By that time, a cop comes up to Diona and me, and tried to pick up on us. The cop was cute. We had to pretend we were sober. Well I actually was sober, but that's not the point. He said two ladies shouldn't be alone in the parking lot, so we acted like we were distressed and said we were waiting for our guy friends since we were the DD's (designated drivers). Mind you, we're at the CVS parking lot haha. So then the cop leaves, since he sees a huge group of people still in front of the bar. By this time, it's about 2:15am-ish. So then Diona and I go around the cops, and we're trying to pick up our friends. He, the officer, then asked us how we got here if he left us at the parking lot. We just told him we walked there. We asked him about his tattoos, and started flirting with him. So then the other girls did the same thing as well :)
Ok so by now, we're all super hungry so we end up going to some taco place. There was about 10 of us just having a good time! I'm there with my guy bitches haha. The reason I said that was because c'mon, put 2 + 2 together. I'm the only girl, and there are 3 guys with no ride whatsoever except for me to take them back home!
We're playing arcades, dancing, mingling, eating food, just hanging out. I think it's about 3:30ish or so when we left. I dropped Cesar off, then James, then Javier, and I finally got home at 4:00am when I knocked out. Between 300-325, my friend Priscilla was still up and decided to call and text me. Surprising huh? Gee, I'm a multi-tasker.
*sighs* I went to sleep at 4 (making it 24hrs since I'd been up) and I get woken up at 8:00am, couldn't go back to sleep so I showered, and then went to work by 930am. I thought I would leave by 130 and work a half day, but instead left at 545. I was texting David on and off throughout the day.
I finally had some rest, and then, on Saturday, I went to Disney's California Adventure with him.
I had lots of fun. I'll post another blog about that but in a little while! 8:55am PST
