As I sit in my living room playing with my boys the winds begin to pick up. The rain starts to pour in, and the darkness takes over the sun. We sit by the window watching the trees dance this magical dance. They bend and twist, and only one breaks. My youngest lets out a scream, is it fear? Is it out of joy? I can't quite tell. We sit and watch in amazement I can't believe how hard the rain is falling. It is white outside almost like a blizzard. We hear a loud angry "MEOW" comming from the garage it must be Cleo silly cat soaking wet must have been "hunting" when the storm started. She is spiky, and unhappy. I remember upon seeing her that I left or I think I left my car windows open. I run outside, end up looking like Cleo only to see that I was smart and rolled up the windows after Sams club. My mother's dog keeps barking at the thunder. We make Mac and Cheese from scratch for dinner, Henry does his job perfectly, and in amazement after it is all done tells me how wonderful it looks and how he can't wait to eat it. The rain decreases in volume, the winds die down, I go out side for a cigarette only to find one of our very large trees fell during the storm. This means wood for camping, wood for fires, wood for a long time. I listen to the rain fall gently outside. My children are calm, Cleo is back outside, and I am here on a computer telling of it. This is one of the joys of being a stay at home mom you get to experience all the wonders of nature with your own children. And tomorrow will be a beautiful day.
