So... that game I was waiting for (Way of The Samurai 4) to get localized and sent yonder to the States showed up in my online store about a month ahead of schedule...

that was a lot of violence and awesomeness.

It's not done yet.
But I did get a good portion of the cool unlocks and some of the cooler weapons.

A lot of the systems have had their arcane-weirdness taken out. ... for better and worse.

I'll miss going on weird vision quests for one item, or bumping into a murderous lunatic at 4 in the morning to get a sword,
but at the same time- I really appreciate being able to forge a new sword without having a degree in blacksmithing.

The "true" ending ...

You have to stop in the middle of a fight, turn around, and manually target two dudes just sitting in the background

changes the whole course of the game O_O

And there's several other criteria to meet but
... I'm not gonna sit here for six hours and rave about the latest addition to one of my favorite game franchises of all time.

I'm trying to build a PKM machine gun from scratch parts and an old trigger assembly from a junk-gun I hacked up with my razor saw.

uuuh

There were just a FEW hiccups in that process, but I'm spot fixing some gouges, and I've got the barrel aligned with the bipod mounting rod

Biggest hurdles (and I might just fucking bybass a couple entirely)

Making the butt (it's this weird wood-stock with a hole in the middle)

making the front grip ? (which is mounted askew to the barrel)

Making the box ammunition (probably the easiest part ahead, just have to fit it to the rest of the gun)

making the sites and the muzzle

making the bi-pod (this wouldn't be so hard if we were dealing with parts a BIT bigger than 1mm in diameter...)

I gotta do test colors too... and brace myself for my airbrush exploding.

It's gonna happen... eventually.

and what the FUCK is a fake hug?

... do you even get called out for that if the girl receiving said hug doesn't like you?
