I think there were only a handful of days in the 20th century when there was not a war going on somewhere in the world.
Of course we had WW1 and WW2 in the last century where approx 60 million lost their lives.
Wars are of course terrible.
But without the loss of lives in war the world population now would be x4?
At the moment China can not feed its own people.
People starving in Africa.
World unemployment is at a high level.
All the above problems would be multiplied.
So in a bizarre way wars are good ?
[I lost both Grandfathers through war so I know the personal tragedy but this mumm is looking at the bigger picture] |
