This years farmers almanac is warning that the heat in the U.S.
is on the increase! With global warming being felt. Because of the climate change
there will be a increase in wood snake activity!
Beware where you step, this breed comes in different sizes and colors some have hoods and others don’t. one eyed and dangerous !
Some say they make good pets and are good once leash trained. Do not stomp on it, smack it or tie it up to long . It may get agitated and spit at you, or change color .
Excessive petting may cause the same thing, symptoms of mishandling.. Lower bulges or venom sacks may turn blue ,or go to sleep for long periods of time and /or will not wake up when you want it to. If it his happens, go see a professional snake handler for you might not be qualified!
It is cold sensitive! Do not put in Ice or freezer!
It likes most warm places that stay out of the sun most of the year, and lays multiple eggs at once
It can leave you with a handful of offspring if you don’t keep it well controlled and happy!
So it is recommended to buy the commonly used wood snake bag to prevent this.
