I want to know why men and kids are so selfish and ungrateful.
We were recently having money problems andmy husband told me to get another job so I did. I was already working weekends. ( I could have picked up more hours at the place i was at but it wasn't worth the drive but I had been with the company for almost years and the discount is good) So I get a job where I was only working a cpl days a week and then one of the employees went out on family leave. So I took her hours m-f 11-4 not a big deal but a big deal when I am working 7 days a week now and not getting much done at home. Well another employee decides that he cant work weekdays anymore so I took his hours too. So currently I am working M-W-F - 11-4 T-Th 11-8 and Sat and Sun 8 hrs each so close to 50 hours a week. My whole house looks like a teenagers bedroom. I threw my neighbor a cpl of bucks and she cleaned it up a bit for me with in a cpl of days it looks the same way again. Mind you I call my husband when i am on my way home from work you would think he would get off his ass and straighten up something so I am not pissed off when I come home or have to clean up something else when I get home. I understand he worked 8 hours but say on a Tuesday before I leave I make sure the living room is straightened up. When I get home at 8pm it looks like a cyclone hit it. My kids are 7 and 5. I understand they are a bit young but I can't understand that they can clean up at school and at their grandparents house(s) but not at home. I worked all weekend and my husbands home I asked him to do some laundry so that that my son has clothes for school on Monday. Well I come home Sunday night to nothing done. I wake up today to get my son ready for school thinking he might have something to wear well he doesn't and he misses the bus. I don't understand WHY I have to do EVERYTHING!!!! I ask for little simple things its not like I am asking him or the kids to do extensive cleaning. Just keeping the house straightened up, a cpl of loads of laundry while I am at work on the weekends and to take out the garbage and recyclebles. My daughter sees the house looking this way (shes the 5 yr old) and I ask her to clean her room and she FLIPS out on my literally FLIPS out. I can take stuff away throw stuff away or even tell her shes not getting something else next time we go out and nothing works. Why can't I get them to just keep my house straightened up so that when it actually needs to be cleaned I don't have to run around like a chicken with my head cut off!? Anyone got any answers on how to keep an insane house sane again? I have had so many nervous brake downs and panic attacks I don't want to have to deal with anymore!
