So…..I’ve decided to never, ever , ever go and pick up my prescriptions during a work day when it’s raining.
I bribed one of my coworkers to take me over there. I thought about just calling and letting them know someone was picking them up but I’ve had issues with them not letting that happen, even with my approval. So I got Diane’s okay to go and we headed out around noon.
We didn’t’ get back till almost 1.
Not because the Walgreen’s was far away or anything.
First off, keep in mind it’s raining.
Next, it is Nashville, TN.
Maybe you’ll then understand why we hit two accidents and two stalled cars on our way back.
One of the accidents someone had run off the interstate and smack into a very large rock face that was there. Further down the interstate it was down to one lane and looked rather stopped. Couldn’t see the accident but there were quite a few emergency vehicles there which make me think: “Dead Body on Road”.
So we hopped off the interstate. Ran right into a stalled car,
Dear god……it was insane!!!
I have a headache now…..good thing some of the drugs I picked up were for migraines.
I kinda wish I was going home after work instead of having to rush to the airport, check in, got through security and then hope THIS flight doesn’t get cancelled.
But I also want to see my mom and get my hair colored in crazy ways. There are more of my blonde roots showing than anyone has seen in years.
So I’ll be missing out on Friday night at the club but I will be there Sunday night in full Slave Girl costume. Prepare yourself, Nashville!
And I have to break the news to anyone who was hoping, the position of helper when I start the green painting has been filled. *grins*
