I shall not allow this to be just another day.
As I am fighting my way through life. My currant mind state is not one of comfort.
I am fighting the beast, resisting the attempt to be devoured by the many undesirable happenings, all recent in this existence I call my life.

I saw myself beginning to crumble this last night.
The effects of these tragedies had begun to extirpate my strength of being.
Consuming all that is me.
Asphyxiation,, bound with ropes of my own senses;
Touch-razor sharp jagged and unbound.
Smell-sour, lingering.
Taste-a bitter harshness.
Sight-stained with tears, uncontrollably running down flushed skin,
leaving trails of pain comparable to third degree burns, memories and fears.
Sound-indistinct whistling and hums rapidly growing louder and undeniably deafening.
Emotions ravaging me, the attempt to devitalize all that is within me.

I remove myself from the cold ground I find beneath me. Naked and alone.
I scream to the Gods above and all around me.
I awaken them.
I wait,,,
And with an undeniable force, I feel as they come to my side.
They surround me bracing me only for a moment,
Long enough for myself to regain my strength.
And Awaken the Viking spirit that is within me.

I will look into the eyes of the beast once again,
I embrace all that I am,,all that I have been, and all that I can and will become,
I stare into the eyes of my enemy, forcing submission.
I stand above all that once tried to bind me.

Alone I am here,with the Gods by my side.
My fist I raise high as I stand tall and proud.
I am a woman.
I am awakened to the truth.
I am able.
I am willing.
I am a leader.
I am ready.

This is my day. This is my time. My chance is here and now.
Into this battle I run.
With all that I am I fight.
My head held high I know what is to become.
I know that I shall hold victory in my hands.
