Ok so I have a vacation coming up at the beginning of May. Have a trip planned with the sisters and their kids (age 5 and there's one of each) and our mom. It's going to be for a whole week in Florida. I do not have kids (love them dearly seeing that my job is focused around kids) and want to see how my niece and nephew will react to seeing Disney for the first time. The problem is is that my family cannot even go through a holiday dinner without arguing over petty stuff or making rude comments about each other, and someone always gets their feelings hurt(usually me). I have been going back and forth as whether to go or not.............so?
A)Should I just go and just realize that my family is always going to be this way
or
B)Stay home and hang with friends (ps. I haven't been on a vacation since 1995) |
