As this Christmas season approaches, I think back to the many Christmases I spent overseas, and now I offer my thanks and praise to all the service men and women who are making this sacrifice for me! And just like that - she is gone :( Sitting on my back porch, having a nice cup of coffee and watching the sunrise over Gettysburg Battlefield. :) This is my first Christmas in 25 years that I get to be at home. No regrets, while serving I always felt that I was doing what a soldier should be doing, Protecting my country so everyone back in the States could celebrate their XMas in safety and Peace. I wish you all a very Blessed and Merry Christmas this year! After 25 years of Active Service, I found out yesterday that the US Army is going to "Retire" me in September! Will not let jerks ruin my fun here! Thinking of leaving this site, I have tried to make the effort, but am finding that too many people here are just plain assholes! Sorry I haven't been here in a few days, had a mild heart attack and was in the hospital for a couple days. There were roles that only Robin could have pulled off - such as Patch Adams! He will be missed, God Bless you Robin Williams and thank you for the laughter! Woohooo Gettysburg Bike week! All I need is one more Noob to buy me drink so I can level up!!! Saturday in the park
I think, it was the fourth of July
Saturday in the park
I think, it was the fourth of July
People dancing, people laughing
A man selling ice cream
Singing Italian songs
"Eh Cumpari, ci vo sunari"
Can you dig it? Yes, I can
A Do you ever feel like that you are just "bothering" people on this site? Happy Mother's Day to all of you beautiful Mothers! Sorry I haven't been here in a couple of days, been in the hospital... Nothing like Insomnia to ruin a good night's sleep! Ok, went to the cardiologist and he informed me that I am only operating with 48% of my heart capacity. In other words 52% of my heart was damaged from the heart attack. :(. Now he said that it could take up to a year, but hopefully some of the bruising w I go to the Cardiologist tomorrow for an echocardiogram - wish me luck! May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go,
and guide you in whatever you do--
and may his loving protection be a blessing to you always. |
