DYING REGRET!
www.myspace.com/dyingregrettours!!
AND FOR SOME WHO LOVE METAL IT'S 3 FINGERS!
Dying Regret!

Dying Regret Was a San Diego based metal band formed in 2005. Dying Regret - The Price of Human Ruin was Written and Performed by Mike Rawluk on drums,
Willie Powell and Ben Lazzaro on guitars, Wayne Lichte (Ace) on bass, Mark Haggblad Vocals.

Mark has since started his own project called Unveil the Strength. Dying Regret recruited Audkik's frontman, Jeremy Hall and toured regionally. Jeremy parted ways to concentrate on Audkik, and Dying Regret continued on with Josh Lambert on Vox. Unfortunately, Wayne's and Willie's lives headed in other directions. Currently the project is on hiatus. Travis and Navid have joined A Self Burning Assembly, Makus is concentrating on his career, and Mike has joined Sicarus, and Unveil the Strength. The Original DyingRegretMusic page on MySpace now shows Mikes current Band shows, Sicarus. So all new data on the site really has nothing to do with DR.

The Dying Regret that toured in the Fall of 2008 Ace, Willie, Mike, Ben/Makus & Jeremy is no more. Ace is still here on Fubar, and over on Facebook and Mike is still on MySpace still so keep in contact with them, Ace and Mike are still the founding members of Dying Regret and love their fans!

Copies of the Price of Human are in limited numbers now, so if you've been on the fence about getting one, get off it and order! They won't be reproduced when they're all gone! If any are available, they're at CDBaby. Of Course all the songs are available on iTunes now, and will continue to be!
We sincerely appreciate our fans all over the world who helped spread the word, came to our shows and supported us by purchasing our promo merch! Tshirts, wristbands, dewrags all sold out fast! If you were lucky to get a Demo Disc, consider yourself lucky!

And check out what Brad @ CD Baby had to say about the EP! [Thanks so much, Brad!]

"I love your "DYING REGRET: The Price Of Human Ruin" CD so much I'm going to feature it on the FRONT PAGE of CD Baby for a few days.

We're REALLY picky about what goes on the front page. We get about 150 new albums a DAY coming in here now, (about 150,000 total), and yours is one of the best I've ever heard."

And now for the review [again, from Brad @ CD Baby!]:

"Got twenty minutes to spare for some "unrelenting orchestrated destruction with beautiful overtones of pain?" Sure you do. While the world continues to be helplessly saturated with metalcore bands that all claim to be poised and ready to rip your ears off with their unrelenting assault, few seem to actually be able to cut the mustard. This EP makes a strong case for why this San Diego five piece might be one of the groups worth paying attention to. Heavy on the riffs but not dependent on them, these songs are fast and slyly sophisticated, throwing in hits and breaks that add a real variation to the structure of the rhythms. The drums may be the real backbone here, cranking into double time with ease and almost toying with the other members, beckoning for them to catch up. The subject matter of the songs is typically dark, but the vocals are delivered with enough gusto and passion that they never seem forced or put on. I would normally say that it's too bad this is just an EP, but this format works as a great introduction to these guys, giving the listener a potent dose of the kind of metal this band has to offer."

"The Price of Human Ruin" was produced, engineered and mixed by Fred Archambault. Mr. Archambault is known for his work with Avenged Sevenfold, 18 Visions, Death by Stereo, and many more.
Our logo was designed by Mike D'Antonio of Killswitch Engage and DarkicoN design.

Our influences included Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, All That Remains, As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Pantera, Slipknot, Mudvayne, Shadows Fall, Between the Buried and Me, God Forbid, Soilwork, Mastodon, DevilDriver, Children of Bodom, In Flames, Scarve, Mnemic and Bleed the Sky.

Dying Regret is currently disbanded, it just wasn't possible to recreate the awesome sound with 4 new members Mike found.
