I love love Mariachi Music, also Oldies and singing along especially when driving any long distance. A couple nights a week we put on music in variety and sing and dance around. "Día de los Muertos"
The Day of the Dead (El Día de los Muertos or All Souls' Day) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and by Latin Americans living in the United States and Canada. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on November 1st and 2nd in connection with the Catholic holiday of All Saints' Day which occurs on Nov 1st and All Souls' Day which occurs on Nov 2nd. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts. Scholars trace the origins of the modern holiday to indigenous observances dating back thousands of years, and to an Aztec festival dedicated to a goddess called Mictecacihuatl.

Some all time movie favorites I watch over and over are SELENA, best JLO movie ever, BLOOD IN BLOOD OUT Benjamin Bratt is so good as PACO, American Me, La Bamba, Scarface, Heat and The Godfather Saga with Al Pacino ZOOT SUIT FOOLS RUSH IN with Selma Hyack, The Green Mile with Tom Hanks and Bailey and Evanay Drucker, who are my cousins, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, EASY RIDER, RAMONA a love story with Loretta Young as Ramona, who falls in love with Alesandro played by Don Ameche ,Niagra, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Bus Stop, Prince and the Show Girl all Monroe films, Grease, Serpico, CASABLANCA with the great Bogart and Bacal, THE PEST Day Without a Mexican both hyserically funny, CAPTAIN BLOOD with Errol Flynn Nardia the Lion, Witch and Wardrobe, The Lion King, every SHIRLEY TEMPLE movie made all the CHEECH and CHONG, Ice Age, Fried Green Tomatoes, STEEL MAGNOLIAS, Sally Feild, Julia Roberts, Shirley McClain makes you laugh and cry DRIVING MISS DAISEY with Jessica Tandy RIP classy lady and Morgan Freeman good in everything like Along Came a Spider, Kiss the Girls, SEVEN with Brad Pitt Ghost, and I liked Demi with short hair, PRACTICAL MAGIC I love Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in this movie, On Golden Pond with Fonda and Hephburn, Marx Brothers, A DAY AT THE RACES I like scarey movies with edge of your seat suspense. SILENCE OF THE LAMBS Anthony Hopkins gave me a chill. Friday the 13th and HALLOWEEN movies I never tire of Jason and Michael, anything with VAMPIRES, any Dracula story, The Lost Boys, Blade and INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE Films by Robert Rodriguez are good and Quentin Tarantino films like PULP FICTION John Travolta and Samuel L Jackson. Some movies I watched recentally that I loved are LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE I could watch it again, Maria Full of Grace, Dreamgirls and Eddie Murphy was my fav in this movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants Nacho Libre, I thought was so stupid, The Lake House, The Devil Wears Prada and Elizabeth.
