Quick info about me, I'm recently divorced after 17 years of marriage and 20 years together. It was final March 2007. I am 39 years old (though I am certain most will never read this and get in my shout box and ask me how old I am, even though the info above says and I am posting it here, isn't it amazing how many NEVER read the profile, lol) and I have two beautiful children whom I adore.

Life is definitely a four letter word at times. Some days it can be amazing, and others it can be summed up by many of the OVER used terms of profanity our society finds acceptable today.

(Geeze, this is the part where I have to talk about me, hmmm thinking...) I enjoy writing poetry/song lyrics. I LOVE to paint. Anything that allows me to display some creativity, I'm game!

My profession often inspires me, I come home and think, WOW, I must be doing something right...I'm not living in a car, I have eaten today, and I have hot water to bathe in, just some of the things most of us take for granted. Memories are like footprints, they leave a trail, so as long as you can stand on your own two feet and take a step forward the possibility of an even better memory awaits. Though, some days I have often considered crawling my way, until I look at my children. They bring me such strength just knowing they need me, as much as I need them. (let's be real here people..They need me to drive them around and be the unpaid and tipless taxi cab driver)

It is not hard to find one's heart, we cross it when we stand to say our National Anthem, you feel it when you hold the hand of someone who cares about you, and you see it on the face and in the eyes of a loving soul. I hear so often, I believe that person is heartless, to that I say, you just aren't looking in the right spot, maybe that person shows their heart on their backside and currently it is covered by a set of pants. (ahh no wonder I have a flat bottom, my heart isn't there, but if it was LOOK OUT JALO! :-D

Someone once asked me to define my soul, so here is my greatest attempt:
My soul is filled with passion for most everything, I am passionate about work, art and my writing and the value of those to whom I hold most dear. Whether it be my family, my children, life long friends or new friends, or someone I have yet to have the pleasure of meeting. My soul can be defined as fine wine; priceless, tasteful, thirst quenching, flavorful and sometime surprising. My soul was lost for nearly 20 years, I am now spending some serious time in capturing it back and devoting my time to make it more beautiful than ever before, not only for myself but to all those whose eyes can and have seen the hell of my past...from the tone of my voice or my written words I have shared on occasion. I am inspired by people, and I try to learn something from everyone. Children have taught me many things by working with them each day. I sometimes wish I could turn back the hands of time and recapture the innocence I had when I was little, thinking everyone is truthful and honest. Amazing how we age to only see things so differently, plagued by life's demons and sins. As for today, I live to LIVE...I want to dance, and run and jump and love like I have never loved before. I want to breathe air like it was oxygen from an angel, filling my lungs to capacity. I want to fly inside, as though today might be my last journey. No one ever knows when you will take your last breath, and when I take mine, I want to take it having zero regrets. I am a simple soul..to those whose eyes choose not to focus upon my reflection..but for those who do, I am as vast as an ocean, filled with many mysteries, just like that of the sea.

I am a chubby so if you find weight an issue and think skinny women are the only ones worthy, and you can't get past your superficial issues to see the true beauty within, thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful life.
