I work as a security officer. Have for most of my life, I enjoy the work and interaction with the public. I've done both uniform and undercover work. I much prefer the uniform, the undercover is just a pain not to get spotted. Have also started instructing in a Security Officer Program at a Vocational College. Nice to put all that experience to work and showing that security work is more than just walking around with a punchclock. Those days are long gone.
I've been told that I have a twisted sense of humor. I am evil, mean, wicked, cruel and nasty. Those are just my good qualities.
All I'm looking for is friends that I can talk with and have a good time. I'm a good listener(reader in this case) when my friends have a problem and have made friends just by being there when they needed somebody to talk to.
Did five years as a Cub Leader with a local Pack. Don't know who had the most fun, me or the Cubs. Pack got shut down due to lack of interest. May start again I hope.
I write a little poetry. I post some here in blog among other places, which I also submit to a publisher. So far so good on that.

I enjoy reading. Some of my favorite books being the Xanth series, Myth Adventures, The Renshai Chronicles, The Belgariad, The Malloreon, Belgarath, Polgara, The Dragone Chair, Green Angel Tower, The Stone of Farewell and the Wheel of Time series.
Movies I enjoy are Windtalker, Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypse Now, The Matrix, Lord of the Rings and anything with John Wayne. (Guess that last one shows my age.)
I love hiking and would love to do an end to end of the Bruce Trail. That's about 730 Km's of hiking. Camping goes right in there with the hiking.
I collect knives and swords, sculptures of dragons and just about anything to do with wolves. I also make chainmail, a great way to pass the time.
