I work in private security and investigations. I am Captain (Regional Supervisor) for a private security firm. I am also the lead private investigator. It is a line of work that has always been of interest to me, and I enjoy the challenges. It is a great thing to be able to make a living doing something I enjoy. Don't get me wrong, though. It isn't all "Magnum PI" glamorous. There's a lot of work involved the TV never shows. But there are some great rewards. Finding answers and closure for someone isn't always a positive thing. In fact, a lot of times the revelations are quite painful, but it helps me to think I can help put an end to a dark chapter of their lives.
In what little spare time I have, I am also a general contractor , specializing in finish carpentry, custom cabinetry and millwork, custom tile work and custom interior stucco/plaster finishes. I am an artist and craftsman. After all, we are still rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina here too.
I am divorced with the most amazing 4-year old son I could ever imagine. He is my fuel. He is my inspiration to get out of bed every day and go to work for 14-16 hours a day, 6-7 days a week.
Also, I am an amatuer photographer. I play several instruments, as well: guitar, piano, bass, percussion, sitar, kitara, wood flute and harmonica. I am working on mandolin next.
I suppose that about sums me up. If you want to know more, just ask.

The Lovers represents intuition and inspiration. Very often a choice needs to be made.
Originally, this card was called just LOVE. And that's actually more apt than "Lovers." Love follows in this sequence of growth and maturity. And, coming after the Emperor, who is about control, it is a radical change in perspective. LOVE is a force that makes you choose and decide for reasons you often can't understand; it makes you surrender control to a higher power. And that is what this card is all about. Finding something or someone who is so much a part of yourself, so perfectly attuned to you and you to them, that you cannot, dare not resist. This card indicates that the you have or will come across a person, career, challenge or thing that you will fall in love with. You will know instinctively that you must have this, even if it means diverging from your chosen path. No matter the difficulties, without it you will never be complete.

Let's see. In general, I am interested in people. I love to just sit and watch my surroundings for a few minutes every day. It reminds me that 99% of the world is as screwed up as me. It's a bit of a comfort and lifts a some of the weight that resides on my shoulders from day to day. Don't believe me or don't know what I'm talking about? Try it. Sit down in a mall or any public place and take in your surroundings. Observe behaviors you thought were reserved or Jerry Springer or some bullshit reality show. Then sigh, laugh or cry as you realize you aren't as ferked-up as you thought. There is always some one wierder, more mental, or more pathetic than yourself. Like it or not, we are all average in some way. So, learn to accept who you are, be happy with yourself and live your life the best you can. Remember, even the people we try so hard to impress have some issues that they are hiding. The most impressive person is the one who has the courage to truly be them self.

You are a red dragon. The fire in you burns hot and bright. You're fun and seductive, and protective as well. You take excitment over calmness any day.
